Semester Long Article
My semester long article is going to be about the cost of partying on Wittenberg's campus. It's sort of an unseen cost of college that many don't really think about. One of the things I plan on exploring are the differences between greek and non-Greek students, the difference between being 21 or under 21, and the quality of what students are drinking and how that affects the cost and their health. I was thinking about expanding to see if people would be willing to talk about what drugs they use, but it might be a little to broad for only 600 words.

Mention the difference between drinking in dorms and off campus housing. could help progress your story.
ReplyDeleteI think it might be interesting to interview places like valero or wine works. I know they won't admit to selling underage, but it would be interesting to see what types of alcohol they sell to witt students and what if they have noticed any trends over the past few years.
ReplyDeleteAnother interesting perspective might be from the Witt police and security who are often the people who are dealing with the drunken state of campus on Wednesdays and weekends.
